RETURNING TO MANAUS
Build Strong has been invited to return to the Amazon Basin. We will build a community center, and provide clean water filters for families living along the river.
RECENT PROJECTS: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED
MANAUS, BRAZIL
In June 2019, Build Strong traveled with other non-profit teams from New Life in Seattle, WA and Builders International from Springfield, MO to build a community center on the Amazon Basin. Now completed, this community center will serve as a safe place for medical clinics, meetings with community leaders, local education, and community weddings and celebrations. It will serve as a focal point where they community can gather and find unity.
ZORANGE, HAITI
In February 2017, Build Strong traveled with other non-profit teams from New Life in Seattle, WA and Builders International from Springfield, MO to begin construction on a desperately needed medical clinic. When completed, this clinic will be staffed and managed by the University of Miami, and will be the only safe place to receive medical care in this mountainous region. In addition, this building will house a sewing facility, providing income for many in the community.
The land beside the clinic will be a soccer field where villages will come together to compete, providing opportunities for the medical staff to build relationships with the surrounding communities and raise awareness about the opportunity to receive medical care.
MALAWI, SOUTH AFRICA
In February 2016, Build Strong joined a team in Chidule, Malawi and built a safe, centrally located community center shared by five surrounding villages. This community center provides agricultural training for farmers, health education for women and girls, community meetings, and a pre-school.

RUSTENBURG, S. AFRICA
In November 2016, Build Strong traveled to both Rustenburg and Cape Town, South Africa. In addition to restoring dormatories at the Rustenburg school, Build Strong helped finish a community center in the informal settlement of Khayelitsha in Cape Town, S.A. This community center will provide a safe place for community meetings and educational programs.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
SANTIAGO, CHILE
Build Strong plans to travel to Santiago, Chile to help build a children's outreach center which will facilitate quality grade school education opportunities, health care services, community education, and care for children at risk.
